I started my career about 25 years ago in Phoenix, Arizona. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with many amazing talents in the industry. Namely, my mentor Jose Eber.
At the age of 22 I worked in Beverly Hills and later became the Artistic Director for the Jose Eber team in Dallas. Jose made me a partner in his organization which later evolved into a principle position as Executive V.P. of Jose Eber Salons Inc.
In 1999, I launched my own brand of makeovers and hair care products. I enjoyed 7 great years of ownership and community service.
Then, I found something I loved even more than hair (something I never thought possible)…TALK. For years I had been dishing out advise behind the chair, and today I do weekly segments on 103.7 in Dallas, Texas with Gene and Julie (Wednesday mornings between 5-10am). I enjoy working in the fast-paced, live format – helping many people at once. Most call in with Fashion and Beauty dilemmas and I share my expertise, advice, and new discoveries with the listeners. Being welcomed into the 103.7 family has been an unexpected and terrific experience for me.
I have enjoyed much success in my career as a stylist. However, been drawn to become involved with organizations that serve our community and the world as a whole. Organizations such as The American Cancer Society, The Human Rights Campaign, DIFFA, Girls Inc., Gilda’s Club have inspired me to continue on a path that empowers women and girls to feel beautiful…inside and out!
